    This is my favourite place in China so far. One side of the river is mailnly western style buildings built from the 1920’s and 30’s, and the other is ultra modern. Some of the buildings are just mad.

    Xi’an highlights: longest city walls of the world…. well, certainly of China! A beautiful mosque with clear Chinese architectural infuences, the not so impressively tall yet quite impressive terracotta warriors, and above all, the tandem ride from up above!!!!
