Siem Reap was so much fun. Its pretty small and the nightlife is amazing. All the action takes place on a street conveniently re-named “bar street”.
Everywhere there seems to be these monkey-man statues.

PHNOM PENH

We took the bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. The main attraction here was supposed to be the school/prison where Pol Pot detained and tortured loads of “intelligent poeple” and the Killing Fields…. I cant say I was a fan! But the rest of Phnom Penh was excellent with bars and restaurants […] -
CAMBODIA
We spent about a week in Cambodia and I loved every minute of it!!!
ANGKOR WAT AT SUNRISE -
HO CHIN MINH CITY
Today we went to see the Cu Chi Tunnels. They are definately as claustrophobic as they are made out to be. Here’s me in one of the trying to get in a tunnel but freaking out a little.

HOI AN
This is definately a cool town. Its pretty small and mainly famous for its tailoring (which I couldnt escape) and old colonial houses. Its beaches are well nice too.
We chose to go see the My Son ruins on our first day and although it was a bit of a way, it was worth going.

HUE
We had an excellent time here. We started off with a cyclo tour to the citadel.

The next day we took a boat down the Perfume River, spent the day on motorbikes, visited another temple, found an extra large snail, had lunch at a nunnery, learnt to make incense and conical hats […] -
HANOI
Hanoi is a pretty cool town too. Went to see a water puppet show which was quite crap though. There is some humour involved but its not that worth it. I thoight it was going to be on the lake but instead it’s in a tiny theatre.

NINH BINH
The highlight of Ninh Binh was probably the extremely little door leading to Lizzie and Laura’s room. We only stayed for one night on the way to the much more beautiful Halong Bay!
