We took the bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. The main attraction here was supposed to be the school/prison where Pol Pot detained and tortured loads of “intelligent poeple” and the Killing Fields…. I cant say I was a fan! But the rest of Phnom Penh was excellent with bars and restaurants along the riverbank and some of the tackiest Buddhas yet!!!!!
FLASHING BUDDHA
This lights behind this Buddha were flashin on and off. Walking in Phnom Wat was like walking in some depressing seventies psychedelic after party.
The one thing that shocked me a little was all these people selling birds outside the temple so you could free them.
CAT CAUGHT A BIRD
Some of the birds in the cage had broken wings and some were dead. It was a pretty nasty sight to say the least.
