THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Next up I thought I’d get out Adelaide and hop on a tour down the Great Ocean Road. A few people had told me it was a wicked trip, and they were right!!!!

First stop was the Albino Kangaroos. Having been only a week or so in Oz I was already mildly fed up with the Roos…. but this was cool!!!!

I then caught up with some much needed excercise (I’m liking the food here) by trekking up Hollow Mountain. Although it might not seem it from the photo, trust me, the view from right up the top was amazing.

Here’s another couple of photos taken from variuos lookouts.

VIEW OF…. LAND

The first night we stayed in a lodge right out in the middle of nowhere in the Grampians in some place called the Asses Ears (I think) which I rated BIG TIME!

The next day we were to do some beachy sightseeing around the 12 apostles (actually there are only 11.5 now I think).

SUNSET AFTER PROPER AUSSIE BBQ AT THE APOSTLES… AGAIN

After one night at the 13th Apostle Hostel, we got some more beaches and an excellent tree top walk. Although, for all of u who are aware of my height thing you will probably understand that I spent a lot of the time on my bum…. the walk involves walking along some platforms about 25m above ground near teh top of the trees. Problem: the platforms move so when people jump up and down u nicely swing around….. the tower is actually more like 50m above ground…. ahhhh!!!!!! but it was well worth it

Anyways…. here’s a group photo…. as always!!!!
